Dr Emily Kirkpatrick
Deputy Chief Public Health Officer and Adelaide GP, Dr Emily Kirkpatrick, is passionate about the importance of primary care, screening and preventative health care. She currently works for SA Health as a Deputy Chief Public Health Officer, in addition to her roles as the Medical Advisor for Primary Care COVID-19 GP Liaison during the pandemic. When working clinically she offers comprehensive general practice care, with a focus on skin cancer detection, in the Adelaide, South Australia. Her special interests are in skin cancer medicine, women's health and iron deficiency. Due to COVID-19 Dr Kirkpatrick is currently employed full-time at the Department for Health and Wellbeing and has subsequently reduced her clinical roles. Her RACGP faculty (SA/NT) Deputy Chair role, chair of the SA/NT RACGP Education & Training Committee, advocacy work, media and research projects will continue during this time. |
