Dr Emily Kirkpatrick
Deputy Chief Public Health Officer / Deputy Chief Medical Officer at SA Health and Adelaide-based GP, Dr Emily Kirkpatrick, is passionate about the importance of primary care, screening and preventative health care.
When working clinically she offers comprehensive general practice care, with a focus on skin cancer detection, in the Adelaide, South Australia. Her special interests are in skin cancer medicine, women's health and preventative medicine.
Due to COVID-19 Dr Kirkpatrick is currently employed full-time at the Department for Health and Wellbeing and has subsequently reduced her clinical roles. Her RACGP faculty (SA/NT) Deputy Chair role, chair of the SA/NT RACGP Education & Training Committee, advocacy work, media and research projects will continue during this time.
